The Heirloom Oven by Manu Bakery(“we”, “us”) is a small artisan bakery based at D1/D2-29, Aadarsh Colony, Rudrapur 263153, Uttarakhand. You can reach us any time at manu@theheirloomoven.com. We are the data controller for the information described here.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Order & contact details — name, phone number, email, delivery address, and order history when you place an order or enquiry.
• Instagram & Meta data — when you comment on our Instagram content or message us, we receive your Instagram username, the comment or message content, and the associated identifiers Meta sends us so we can respond.
• Communications — messages you send us over email, WhatsApp, or Instagram Direct.
• Usage data — basic, non-identifying analytics about how our website is used.

We operate an Instagram automation so that when you comment on one of our recipe posts or reels, we can send you the requested recipe or information as a direct message. To provide this we use Meta’s official APIs, and we only use the data Meta shares with us for that purpose:

• To detect your comment and reply publicly and/or by direct message.
• To send you the recipe, menu, or information you asked for.
• To respond to direct messages you send our account.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use Instagram data for advertising or share it with unrelated third parties.

• To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders.
• To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
• To send you updates you have opted into (for example, our newsletter) — you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We share data only with service providers who help us run the bakery — for example, payment processors, delivery/logistics partners, email and hosting providers, and Meta (for Instagram messaging). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Instagram messages and comment records are kept to maintain a conversation history and are deleted on request (see below).

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of the data we hold about you — including Instagram-related data — see our Data Deletion instructions or email manu@theheirloomoven.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
